India won the only T20I against South Africa by 16 runs at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. After the hosts were propelled to 146/5 by Smriti Mandhana (52) and Mithali Raj (40), Poonam Yadav claimed 3/18 to help keep the visitors to 130/9 to finish the tour on a victorious note.  Earlier, opening the innings for hosts, Raj and VR Vanitha put up a 45-run opening stand until the latter was sent back for seven by Sunette Loubser. South Africa pulled off a four-wicket win against India to claim the three-match ODI series 2-1 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. The visitors were set on course for the 181-run target by Nadine Moodley and Mignon du Preez’s 108-run stand after losing the openers with just 13 runs on the board. After the double strike by Deepti Sharma in the 29th over to end the century stand, the Indian bowlers then dried up the flow of runs. In a game dominated by the bowlers, the visitors’ No.7 bat, Chloe Tyron took the team to the 115-run target with a half-century. SA now lead the three-match ODI series 1-0.  Earlier, opting to bat first, the India women's team were bowled out for 114 by the Marizanne Kapp-led attack. With a Test victory behind them India women’s team are set to take on the South African women’s side in the three-match ODI series beginning November 24. The hosts are looking to extend their winning streak into the one-dayers of the ICC Women’s championship to qualify for the World Cup.  Speaking to the media on Sunday, India captain Mithali Raj said, “We carry the same confidence (from Tests) into the one-dayers, but then it’s a different format altogether. It’s going to be a good contest playing against South Africa because we are playing the one-dayers (against each other) after a long time. I guess the girls are confident getting into the one-dayers.”  Speaking about the opposition, the batsman said, “What I saw in the Test match is they are a very good fielding side. They have a very compact top-order, they have good 4-5 batsmen. India galloped to an innings and 34-run win against South Africa on the last day of the Test match in Mysore. The MOU finalized today includes a tie-up between India’s premier pace foundation and the BCCI for the next five years. The  MRF Pace Foundation  over the years has contributed to the success of fast bowlers from around the world. In terms of facilities, infrastructure and training talent, the  MRF Pace Foundation  has a lot to offer the Indian bowlers. The BCCI will send current and upcoming pace bowlers to the academy to train under the Director of the Pace Foundation, the legendary Glenn McGrath. England women won the rain truncated 1st ODI by 42 runs by the Duckworth/Lewis method against India women at the North Marine Road Ground in Scarborough. With weather having the final say, the 110-run opening stand between Charlotte Edwards and Heather Knight proved crucial as England took a 1-0 lead in the bilateral series of the ICC Women's Championship.  Having restricted India to 193 in 47 overs, England were set a revised target of 184 in 42 overs after rain interrupted the game for the second time. Edwards and Knight got England off to a flying start.
