India won the only T20I against South Africa by 16 runs at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. After the hosts were propelled to 146/5 by Smriti Mandhana (52) and Mithali Raj (40), Poonam Yadav claimed 3/18 to help keep the visitors to 130/9 to finish the tour on a victorious note.  Earlier, opening the innings for hosts, Raj and VR Vanitha put up a 45-run opening stand until the latter was sent back for seven by Sunette Loubser. India Women captain Mithali Raj (39) and Sonia Dabir (3 for 14) helped their team earn a six-run victory over Pakistan women in the ICC Women's World Twenty20 2014 Playoff 2 on Wednesday (April 2). India Women lost their opening match of 2014 ICC World Twenty20 to Sri Lanka Women by 22 runs at the Sylhet Stadium. India Women cantered to an eight-wicket win after the Jhulan Goswami-led attack restricted Bangladesh Women to 65 for nine to set up the match in visitors’ favour. With the comprehensive win in the second T20I, India have taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match T20I series.
