India Women team for England tour named

 The All-India Senior Women's Selection Committee met on 14th July 2014 to pick the Indian team for the tour of England. (Also Read: India Women's captain Mithali Raj backs young team)

Indian team will play one Test Match (4 days) and 3 ODIs. 

Following is the tour itinerary.

7th & 8th August 2014 - Two day Warm up game @ Loughborough, Haslegrave

13th to 16th August 2014 - 1st Test Match (4 days) @ Wormsley CG

19th August 2014 - One day (50 overs) Warm up game @ Harrogate CC

21st August 2014 - 1st ODI @ Scarborough CC

23rd August 2014 - 2nd ODI @ Scarborough CC

25th August 2014 - 3rd ODI @ Lords CG

Propelled by Rohit Sharma’s magnificent double-century, India marched to a 153-run win in Kolkata. While Eden Gardens celebrated 150 years, Rohit lit-up the stadium with a well paced 264 off 173 to make the occasion memorable. In doing so, he etched his name in the history books by posting the highest individual score in ODI cricket and became the only batsman to post two double hundreds in the 50-over format till date.
