Report: Bangladesh vs India (Women) – 3rd T20I, 2014

With a seven-wicket win the last game of the bilateral series, India Women claimed the three-match T20I series 3-0. Led by Harmanpreet Kaur in the third game, India Women coasted to the paltry target with ease after spinners, Sravanthi Naidu and Gouher Sultana, helped restrict the hosts to 81 for eight. Both took three wickets apiece, while S Sharma chipped in with one wicket to set up the match in India's favour. (Also Read: Report: Bangladesh vs India (Women) – 1st T20I, 2014)
Earlier, after opting to bat first, Bangladesh lost Shamima Sultana in the first over. Shubhlakshmi Sharma sent back the opener for a duck. And though captain Salma Khatun put up a lone fight, the batsmen to follow returned for single-digit scores. Khatun garnered 34 off 41 balls, while opener Ayasha Rahman was the only other batter to reach double-digit scores before being castled by Naidu. Rest of the Bangladesh line-up caved in to the visitors' bowling attack. 

India opener Latika Kumari then led the run-chase with a 47-ball 36 before being sent back by Khatun. Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur were back in the dressing room after contributing six runs each. However, Shikha Pandey took the team to a comfortable win with a 26 not-out.

Player of the Match: Sravanthi Naidu for claiming three wickets for 13 runs 

Brief scores: Bangladesh Women 81/8 in 20 overs (S Khatun 34, S Naidu 3/13, G Sultana 3/17) lost to India Women 82/3 in 16.4 overs (L Kumari 36, S Pandey 26*) by seven wickets
