The first four-day match between Australia A and India A ended in a draw at the Allan Border field in Brisbane. While both teams got off to a shaky start in their first innings, they were helped to massive totals by their lower middle-order batsmen. Mitchell Marsh slammed a double century while Sam Whiteman scored a century to turn the game in Australia A’s favour after being left on 126 for 6 at the end of second day. The duo took the advantage away from the visitors as they helped their team to a 47-run lead at the end of Day 3 in Brisbane. With India A conceding the advantage the match heads towards a draw with one final day of play left. Naman Ojha scored a magnificent double century to put India in a dominating position in the first four-day game against Australia A. The wicketkeeper-batsman was unbeaten on 219 when India A declared their first innings on 475 for nine. The India A attack led by Jasprit Bumrah (3/42) further strengthened the visitors position. India A were 304 for six at the end of Day 1 of the first four-day match against Australia A in Brisbane. Skipper Manoj Tiwary top-scored for the visitors after electing to bat at the Allan Border Field and was ably supported by Jiwanjot Singh in salvaging the innings after losing three wickets for just 43 runs.
