# With Shikhar Dhawan's catch, Mahela Jayawardene became the first fielder to complete 200 catches in ODIs.

# Virat Kohli, despite scoring 2 & 31 vs Sri Lanka in the present series, is averaging 54.70 against them - his overall tally being 1477 in 33 matches. His tally includes five hundreds and eight fifties.

# For the first time in six successive calendar years in ODIs, Kohli is averaging less than 40 - 490 runs in sixteen matches, including a hundred and two fifties.

Propelled by Rohit Sharma’s magnificent double-century, India marched to a 153-run win in Kolkata. While Eden Gardens celebrated 150 years, Rohit lit-up the stadium with a well paced 264 off 173 to make the occasion memorable. In doing so, he etched his name in the history books by posting the highest individual score in ODI cricket and became the only batsman to post two double hundreds in the 50-over format till date.
