# Dhawan's average of 110.66 is the highest by an Indian player in the ICC Champions Trophy.

# Dhawan has reached an average of fifty-plus in ODIs - 401 runs in nine matches, including two hundreds and two fifties, at an average of 50.12.

# Dhawan (68 off 92 balls) has recorded a match-winning fifty in his first appearance vs Sri Lanka in ODIs.

# Virat Kohli (58 not out of 64 balls) has posted his second fifty in seven matches in the ICC Champions Trophy.

# Mahendra Singh Dhoni has bowled in an ODI for the second time. He had first bowled vs West Indies (2-0-14-1) at Johannesburg in the ICC Champions Trophy on September 30, 2009, capturing one wicket - his victim being Travis Dowlin. India had won the game by seven wickets.

# Kumar Sangakkara, with 222 runs at an average of 74.00 in four matches, is the top run-scorer for Sri Lanka in the present tournament. Only Shikhar Dhawan has managed more runs than Sangakkara.

# Sangakkara is the third wicketkeeper to complete 400 dismissals (318 catches + 82 stumpings) in ODIs, joining Adam Gilchrist (472) and Mark Boucher (424).

# Having amassed 10,355 runs (ave.40.76), Sangakkara is the first wicketkeeper to complete the double of 10,000 runs and 400 dismissals in 300 ODIs.

# Angelo Matthews (51 off 89 balls) has posted his second fifty in the ICC Champions Trophy - his highest is 52 off 73 balls vs England at Johannesburg on September 25, 2009.

# Matthews' first fifty in eight matches as captain is his 14th in ODIs - his third against India.

# Matthews is the second Sri Lankan captain after Sanath Jayasuriya (74 at Colombo RPS on September 29, 2002) to record a fifty vs India in the ICC Champions Trophy.

Propelled by Rohit Sharma’s magnificent double-century, India marched to a 153-run win in Kolkata. While Eden Gardens celebrated 150 years, Rohit lit-up the stadium with a well paced 264 off 173 to make the occasion memorable. In doing so, he etched his name in the history books by posting the highest individual score in ODI cricket and became the only batsman to post two double hundreds in the 50-over format till date.
