India’s Loss Continues

The second ODI match between India and England was five-hour delayed due to rain, after won the toss England forced India to bat first.

cookYoung Parthiv’s (28), Ajinkya Rahane’ (54), Dravid’s (32) and Raina’s (40) helps India to put 187 for 8 on the board in the 23 over match. But it’s not enough target for England to chase, they achieved it in the 23rd over with the help of Cook’s 80 runs.

England’s James Anderson, Tim Bresnan and Stuart Broad all in good form, India did well to score 8 runs per over. Rahane scored an easy 54 (47 balls). Parthiv scored fast 28 runs in first third over at that time Rahane was zero. Parthiv smash two sixes on midwicket and three fours around the wicket help India a good start.
Parthiv was wedged behind off Anderson, but HotSpot failed to notice the edge. Parthiv choose to walk off believing he had edged the ball. HotSpot showed not anything but Snickometer registered a few proof of an edge.

Rahul Dravid and Rahane batted brilliantly to add 79 runs on the board for the second wicket. Rahane scored to his maiden ODI fifty off 40 balls. Raina smashed Jade Dernbach for two big sixes and that the straight boundaries at Rose Bowl are very long and another one six Bresnan over cover.

Bresnan and swann got 3 and Anderson got 1 wicket for England. On the Second innings Craig Kieswetter scored 46 (25), Bell and Ravi Bopara scored 25 and 24 runs respectively. Opener English Captain Cook Scored unbeaten 80 runs helps England to taste another one win against India in this tour.
