India v/s England T20 2011 Review

Loses continues dhoni &co, Indian against England T20 International was held on yesterday (31/8/2011) at Manchester. World T20 Champion England chases 166 runs and finished on 169 for four with three balls remaining.

Indian Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat first. The youngest 23-year-old Ajinkya Rahane and Parthiv Patel open the batting. Rahane played brilliantly well and scored 61 runs in 39 balls (8 fours). This is the debut international match for him and scored maiden 50 as well. And Rahul Dravid did hatrick six and finally he scored 31 runs in 23 balls. He also plays his first Twenty20 international. Suresh raina scores 33(2 fours and 3 six) runs in just 19 balls. And the remaining players are scored single digits. India loses wickets in a quick intervels. And finally india scores 165 runs in 19.4 overs with the loss of all wickets.


England's started badly when debutant opener Alex Hales out on second delivey from Praveen Kumar. Kavin Peterson and Eoin Morgan played brilliantly well and scores 33(5 fours) and 49(7 four and 1 six) respectively. Finally Ravi Bopara 33 runs and Samit patel 25 runs not out finished the innings by 169 runs with three balls remaining. Munaf got 2 wickets, Praveen and kholi got 1 wicket as well for India. Jade Dernbach got 4 wickets, Broad 2 wickets, Bresnan, Swann; Bopara got 1 wicket for England. Dernbach named man of the match. 

Finally india got young opnner Rahane is only one good news for India. And the 5 ODI matches starts on 3 Sep. we will wait and see the Indian team come back.

Propelled by Rohit Sharma’s magnificent double-century, India marched to a 153-run win in Kolkata. While Eden Gardens celebrated 150 years, Rohit lit-up the stadium with a well paced 264 off 173 to make the occasion memorable.
