Gambhir, Virat warned for breach of conduct : RCB vs KKR

Virat Kohli from Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gautam Gambhir from Kolkata Knight Riders both received an official warning and reprimand for breaching the Pepsi Indian Premier League (IPL) Code of Conduct during the match at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru this evening. (Also See: PWI vs RR - M13 Report & Stats: IPL 2013)

Both Mr. Kohli and Mr. Gambhir admitted to the Level 1 offence (Article 2.1.4) of using language or a gesture that is obscene, offensive or insulting during the match.
For Level 1 breaches of the IPL Code of Conduct, the Match Referee’s decision is final and binding.

Propelled by Rohit Sharma’s magnificent double-century, India marched to a 153-run win in Kolkata.
