India Under-19 captain, Vijay Zol, who led the Indian colts to the title in the tri-nation series in Australia in his very first stint at the helm, says that talking to Virat Kohli helped him prepare for the challenges and pressures of the tournament. Darwin, Australia:   Skipper Vijay Zol continued his fine form as his century helped India colts thrash New Zealand by a whopping margin of 165 runs to register their third victory in an U-19 Tri-series match being heled here on Thursday. India Under-19 beat Papua New Guinea Under-19 by 71 runs at the Tracy Village Oval in their first match of the Australia Under-19s Tri-Nation Tournament in Darwin. Although their batsmen struggled to post an imposing target for the opposition, the Indian bowlers skittled out PNG for a paltry 65 to register a win. Put in to bat, the Vijay Zol-led Indian colts were bowled out for 136 in 43.1 overs. The skipper, opening the innings for India, scored 48 off 46 balls. However, the rest of the line-up faltered. Maharashtra's Vijay Zol has been named captain of the Indian junior team that will compete in a tri-series to be played in Australia in June-July. Sanju Samson, who played for Rajasthan Royals in IPL-6, was appointed as Zol's deputy in the 15-member squad for the tournament. Zol is the only member from this squad who was part of the Under-19 World Cup team that triumphed last year under Unmukt Chand's captaincy. "The All India Junior Selection Committee met in Bengaluru earlier today, to pick the squad for the tri-series in Australia, to be played in June-July 2013," BCCI's secretary Sanjay patel said in a statement.
