CLT20 2013: Abandoned match Ticket Refund

Rain had the final say in Ahmedabad on Monday as both matches were abandoned without a ball being bowled. (Also Read:  Highveld Lions vs Perth Scorchers, M4 - Report: CLT20-2013 ) In the first match, the Highveld Lions and Perth Scorchers shared the spoils and earned two points each for a no result match, whilst Mumbai Indians and Otago Volts similarly earned the same points for their abandoned match. (Also Read:  Mumbai Indians vs Otago Volts, M5 - Report: CLT20-2013 ) Spectators who have purchased tickets for these matches can claim a refund from the Refund Counter at the Box Office at Motera Stadium, Ahmedabad from 25th September 2013 till 2 October 2013 between 10am – 6pm. Refunds can be claimed only on producing a valid paid ticket. All tickets purchased through the internet will be refunded directly online. The Refund Counter will not be open 27th September and 30th September 2013 due to the matches taking place at the venue.

Mumbai Indians vs Otago Volts, M5 - Report: CLT20-2013

Weather came in the way of cricket for the second time on the day when the match between the Mumbai Indians and Otago Volts - Match 5 of the Karbonn Smart CLT20 2013 - was abandoned without a ball being bowled. Both teams split points from the match and had to be content with two points each. (Read:  Rajasthan Royals vs Mumbai Indians, M1 - Report: CLT20-2013 ) The four points in this match were more crucial for the Mumbai Indians, given they had lost to the Rajasthan Royals in the inaugural match of the season. The IPL champions sit bottom of the table in Group A and with just two more matches remaining, the pressure will be on MI to win both of them – as convincingly as possible – to give them a chance of progressing to the knockouts.
