After Sanju Samson powered India Under-19 to 301, their bowlers skittled out Papua New Guinea Under-19 for 56 to claim a 245-run win at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. India U-19 began their Asian Cricket Council Under-19s Asia Cup campaign with a thumping 189-run win over UAE U-19 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Propelled by Akhil Herawadkar’s 101, they piled on 320 for four, while Deepak Hooda claimed four for 21 to help bowl UAE out for 131 in the Group A match. India continued their recent run of form against the Australian U19 team with a 47-run win in the Under 19 International Series at Marrara Oval in Darwin today. India’s bowlers got the best of Australia’s U19 batsmen, sparking a dramatic collapse late in the day. Australia appeared on track to reach India’s total of 221, before losing six wickets for 19 runs and finishing all out for 174.
