Dhoni Out, Dinesh Kartik In, Virat to lead India for Asia Cup 2014

M.S. Dhoni has been ruled out of the forthcoming Asia Cup, to be played in Bangladesh, in February-March 2014. (Also Read: India Asia Cup 2014 Squad)

He sustained a Grade I left side-strain injury during the course of the second Test against New Zealand. He will be undergoing rehabilitation for ten days. 

The All-India Senior Selection Committee has picked Dinesh Kartik as his replacement in the Indian squad for the tournament. 

Virat Kohli will lead India in the competition.

Propelled by Rohit Sharma’s magnificent double-century, India marched to a 153-run win in Kolkata. While Eden Gardens celebrated 150 years, Rohit lit-up the stadium with a well paced 264 off 173 to make the occasion memorable.
