# Ashwin is the 19th bowler to complete 100 wickets for India in Tests - his average being 27.68. His feat of achieving the 100-wicket mark in 18 Tests is an Indian record, surpassing Erapalli Prassana's feat of accomplishing the feat in 20 Tests. George Lohmann (England) holds a Test record, taking just 16 Tests followed by 17 each taken by Australia's MS Dhoni, Charlie Turner & Clarrie Grimmet and England's Sydney Barnes.
