Here is the round-up for Day 3 of the first round: 
Group B 
Saurashtra vs Rajasthan: After declaring their innings on 475 for seven, Saurashtra bowled Rajasthan out for 136 in the first innings and enforced a follow-on. DA Jadeja, Kamlesh Makvana and Vishal Joshi took three wickets apiece to push the visitors on the back foot. Following on, the visitors were 147 for four at stumps with Jadeja accounting for three wickets, while Makvana picked one. Hrishikesh Kanitkar and Rajesh Bishnoi were batting on 14 and two respectively when play ended. (Also Read: Ranji Trophy 2013-14: Group B, Oct 28)
Tamil Nadu vs SSCB: Services were 245 for five and trailing by 211 runs in the first innings at the end of third day’s play against Tamil Nadu. Yashpal Singh was unbeaten on 87 with Sarabjit Singh on 13 at close of play.
MPCA vs Railways: Trailing by 175 runs with a wicket in hand, Railways are on the brink of conceding a first-innings lead to MPCA. Despite centuries from Shivakant Shukla and Mahesh Rawat, the lack of resistance from the rest of the line-up has left Railways on 335 for nine.
Bengal vs Baroda: No Play

Propelled by Rohit Sharma’s magnificent double-century, India marched to a 153-run win in Kolkata. While Eden Gardens celebrated 150 years, Rohit lit-up the stadium with a well paced 264 off 173 to make the occasion memorable. In doing so, he etched his name in the history books by posting the highest individual score in ODI cricket and became the only batsman to post two double hundreds in the 50-over format till date.
