The Sri Lanka Under-19 were leading by 64 runs with five wickets in hand in the second innings at the end of third day’s play in the second four-day match against India Under-19. The home team, who were trailing by 170 runs when played ended on Day 2, carefully worked towards overcoming the deficit and taking a marginal lead. Resuming their innings on 11 for no loss, they lost their opener Minod Bhanuka after adding just 16 runs to the overnight score.
