Cricketer Lakshmipathy Balaji has finally made his relationship with model girlfriend Priya Thalur official.

The couple got engaged in a private ceremony on Monday . Priya is popular on the Chennai social scene and was often spotted with the cricketer and at IPL dos. However, the couple always maintained they were just “good friends.“

Late on Monday as soon as pictures of them started circulating on BBM and Facebook, it was confirmed that they were in love. Priya, who was even spot ted partying with Shah Rukh Khan, champions many social causes and was recently seen running a marathon for the aid of underprivileged kids. A source close to the couple says, “Priya's family is thrilled and Balaji has always maintained that she's his lucky charm.“
