IPL 6 Players Auction List Released

IPL 6 auction list released

A list of 101 players who will go on auction on Sunday, February 3rd ahead of the 2013 Indian Premier League was released today.

The list includes 7 Indians with RP Singh, released by the Mumbai Indians, being the biggest name among them. Australians Ricky Ponting and Michael Clarke at a reserve price of $ 400,000 and South Africa’s Johan Botha at a reserve price of $ 300,000; all three former national captains are the most expensive players on the auction list.

Propelled by Rohit Sharma’s magnificent double-century, India marched to a 153-run win in Kolkata. While Eden Gardens celebrated 150 years, Rohit lit-up the stadium with a well paced 264 off 173 to make the occasion memorable. In doing so, he etched his name in the history books by posting the highest individual score in ODI cricket and became the only batsman to post two double hundreds in the 50-over format till date.
