Kevin Pietersen (17) looked his solid best and was unfortunate to have been declared out to Ishant Sharma. The ball flew of his pad but the umpire thought it had a bit of his bat too before reaching Dhoni behind the stumps.
Kohli went on to complete his fifty and take his team through, by 7 wickets.
