Highveld Lions win by 5 wickets

  • Petersen: "I thought we kept calm when we needed it most. Our bowling was excellent but our batting needs a lot more work. We discussed D/L at the halfway stage and we tried to make sure we kept ahead of the rate at all times. We will celebrate tonight and will look to hit the ground running in the semifinals."
  • Gale: "I thought we were 20 runs short at the halfway stage and it was an achievement to take it to the last over. We are missing 7 of our first team players so we have done very well, some great experience for the young lads too."
