  • White: “I hope the jinx has gone for the next game and for next season, it was a nice team effort and no surprise that we won. After doing great to restrict them we got off brilliantly with the bat to setup the chase. After only having won two games this tournament there is no such thing as an easy chase, there were a few nerves but we got there in the end.”
  • Dravid: “We didn't play good cricket, we needed about 150 on that wicket and we could have assessed the wicket better. They got off to a good start and that was that. It was a bat first wicket it's just that we didn't bet well enough. The dressing room is very down right now but we can look back on the season with a lot of pride.”

Propelled by Rohit Sharma’s magnificent double-century, India marched to a 153-run win in Kolkata.
