Josh Hazlewood, an Australian seamer, has been ruled out of the World Test Championship Final against India, which begins on June 7. Even though Hazlewood has been bowling at full speed in practice, he is dealing with a left Achilles problem in addition to the side strain he sustained during his recent IPL stint. With Australia playing the Ashes soon following the WTC Final, the cautious approach has been taken. Michael Neser, an in-form all-rounder, has been called up to the Australian squad and might be in contention for a berth in their playing XI over Scott Boland. The 33-year-old has recently been in excellent form for Glamorgan in the County Championship, picking up 19 wickets in five matches and smashing a century against Sussex in a recent match.
