Returning to play in the Celkon Mobile Cup 2013 final against Sri Lanka, MS Dhoni led India to the title with a trademark six by attaining the 202-run target. Sri Lanka collapsed to 96 all out on Tuesday (July 9) as India came from behind in the Celkon Mobile Tri-Nations Series to qualify for the final. India needed to restrict Sri Lanka to 167 to reach the final, which will take place on Thursday, in a rain-curtailed match and Bhuvneshwar Kumar broke the back of the Sri Lankan top order to allow India to sail on. With a comprehensive 102-run win over the West Indies under the Duckworth/Lewis method, India have managed to stay in contention for a place in the finals of the Celkon Mobile Cup. After India’s opening pair laid a solid foundation, stand-in captain Virat Kohli ensured that his team set the West Indies a formidable target with his swashbuckling century. After their bowlers had been clobbered for plenty of runs, the Indian batsmen faced an uphill battle from the get go and were bowled out for 187 runs in 44.5 overs, in the ongoing tri-series in the Caribbean. India lost their opening game of the ongoing tri-series to West Indies by one wicket at Sabina Park.
