Kings XI Punjab, true to their reputation of being a very dangerous batting side, lit up the evening skies at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in Mohali as they posted 215 runs on the board and then dismissed opponents Northern Knights for 95 to register their third win in the Oppo CLT20 2014. The Hobart Hurricanes laid their claim for a place in the semi-final of the Oppo CLT20 2014 after they defeated the Northern Knights by a humongous margin of 86 runs at the Chhattisgarh International Cricket Stadium in Raipur. Kane Williamson’s maiden Twenty20 century – the fastest in the Champions League T20 - was the highlight of the Northern Knights’ resounding victory over Cape Cobras at the Chhattisgarh International Cricket Stadium in Raipur. The Northern Knights took a step closer to progressing to the main draw of the Oppo CLT20 2014 after they defeated the Lahore Lions by 72 runs in the third of the qualifying stage matches.
