The Karbonn Smart CLT20 2013 double-header on 23 September was washed out, and four teams had to share points, as a result. The match will be played at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, at 8:00 pm on 27 September 2013.  The weather in Ahmedabad will be monitored on a continuous basis, and a decision on the double-header on 30 September will be taken a few days later. A spirited bowling performance helped the Rajasthan Royals register their second win in as many matches in the Karbonn Smart CLT20 2013 and displace the Otago Volts from the top of the table in Group A. After posting a competitive 183 runs on the board, the Royals bowled and fielded well to restrict the Highveld Lions to 153 and registered a 30-run win. Match 4 of the Karbonn Smart CLT20 2013 turned out to be a damp squib after heavy showers forced the game to be abandoned without a ball being bowled. The two teams - Highveld Lions and Perth Scorchers – for who this match was their first outing in the competition, had to be content with two points each. Earlier in the evening, the match looked all set for an on-time start. The Highveld Lions skipper Alviro Petersen won the toss and put the Scorchers in to bat. However, within minutes of the toss, the skies opened up and there was a deluge. The rain did not relent for more than an hour, and small puddles across the field slowly turned to huge ponds of water. With the rain not relenting, the Match Officials had no option but to abandon the match.
