Rajasthan Royals vs Perth Scorchers, M15 - Report: CLT20-2013

The Rajasthan Royals sealed a semi-final berth in the Karbonn Smart CLT20 2013 after they defeated the Perth Scorchers by nine wickets at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. After putting the visitors to bat and dismissing them for 120, the Royals coasted to a win with 21 balls to spare. Kevon Cooper seeks to strike every time

More often than not, Kevon Cooper strikes for the Rajasthan Royals’ and accounts for wickets in the middle and death overs. In the contest against Kings XI Punjab, once again the tall pacer from the Caribbean took rear guard toll with James Faulkner after S Sreesanth and Siddharth Trivedi lopped off the top order to help set up the game for the home team. The 24-year old has been an important cog in the Royals’ squad since his inclusion in the team last year and has claimed wickets in all of RR’s three wins in the Pepsi Indian Premier League 2013 so far.
