Virat Kohli Injured Video Highlights - India vs Pakistan 1st ODI, 30th December 2012 India's Virat Kohli who had a rather unpleasant fall while bowling against Pakistan in the opening ODI in Chennai, underwent an MRI scan and while a release late on Sunday said that his ligaments are fine, a decision on whether he will play would be taken in the days to come. Kohli bowled two overs and five deliveries of his third before his back-foot slipped in his delivery stride and he came down on his knee. The 24-year-old part-time bowler was in visible pain and was taken off the field. He remained off the action till the end of the match which Pakistan won by 6 wickets. Bhuvneshwar Kumar had a dream start to his ODI debut as he took a wicket off his very first ball in one-day internationals by bowling Mohammad Hafeez out. He became only the second Indian bowler to take a wicket off his very first ball in ODIs, after Sadagoppan Ramesh who did so against West Indies at Singapore in 1999. Bhuvneshwar had also taken a wicket off his sixth ball in Twenty20 Internationals (victim – Nasir Jamshed). He thus became the first Indian to take a wicket in his first overs both in ODIs and T20Is.

MS Dhoni 113* 125 Balls v Pakistan, 1st ODI- 2012: Highlights MS Dhoni and R Ashwin added 125 runs for the seventh wicket without being separated. This is India’s highest seventh wicket partnership against any opponent. The previous highest was 102 between Hemang Badani and Ajit Agarkar against Australia at Melbourne in 2004. Incidentally, India’s previous highest seventh wicket partnership against Pakistan was 89 (unbroken) between Yashpal Sharma and Syed Kirmani at Gujranwala in 1982. The above partnership was also the third highest for the seventh wicket for any side in ODIs. MS Dhoni (113*) made his eighth ODI hundred in his 212th match.
