The Men in Blue were once again led from the front by MS Dhoni, who scored a vital 36. Dhoni also effected two dismissals in this match while keeping wicket; this took his career ODI tally to the 200 mark. Earlier, during his innings, the Indian skipper finally got out on home soil in ODIs for the first time since March 2011. During this period he played eight innings and scored a whopping 506 runs.
