The Kings XI Punjab maintained their hundred percent win record in the Oppo CLT20 2014 after they defeated Cape Cobras by seven wickets in their final group stage match at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in Mohali. After their bowlers did a very good job of dismissing the Cape Cobras for 135, the KXIP batsmen went about their job of knocking off the required runs without too much fuss, taking the team past the finish line in the 19th over. In a rollercoaster of a match at the Punjab Cricket Association in Mohali, the Cape Cobras outclassed the Barbados Tridents in an Oppo CLT20 2014 contest that was decided by means of a Super Over. A superbly paced half-century from Aiden Blizzard was the highlight of the Hobart Hurricanes’ six-wicket win over Cape Cobras in the sixth match of the Oppo CLT20 2014. Kane Williamson’s maiden Twenty20 century – the fastest in the Champions League T20 - was the highlight of the Northern Knights’ resounding victory over Cape Cobras at the Chhattisgarh International Cricket Stadium in Raipur.
