India’s World Cup campaign ended in Sydney after Australia sealed the deal with a comprehensive 95-run win over the defending Champions. The chase was always meant to be tough after Australia posted a mammoth total of 327 runs on the board. But India did begin their run-chase positively as openers, Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan, got off to brisk starts, setting a perfect tempo for a successful run-chase. The 95-run loss to Australia in the semi-final halted India’s ICC Cricket World Cup, 2015 campaign. A bright and sunny Adelaide Oval was all set to stage the first warm-up game between India & Australia. The sun hats were on, the sunscreen applied in the right proportion and the sunglasses gave a rather ‘cool’ view of the proceedings.
