Tripura vs Assam in Kolkata: Assam beat Tripura by eight wickets in a low-scoring game at the Eden Gardens. After the Assam pacers claimed the Tripura top order and the middle order bats were run out, off-spinner Gokul Sharma dismissed the last four batters to wrap up the Tripura innings for 109 in 37 overs. Assam then chased down the target in 23 overs, with opener Pritam Das (50) top-scoring.

Propelled by Rohit Sharma’s magnificent double-century, India marched to a 153-run win in Kolkata. While Eden Gardens celebrated 150 years, Rohit lit-up the stadium with a well paced 264 off 173 to make the occasion memorable.
