68 Auckland’s total at the fall of 9th wicket. Incidentally the dubious distinction of lowest total at the fall of 9th wicket belongs to another New Zealand side. Central Districts were 63 for 9 against Wayamba at Port Elizabeth in 2010.

45 Runs added by Andre Adams and Michael Bates for the 10th wicket – the highest partnership in CLT20 for this wicket. This was also the fifth-highest 10th wicket partnership in all T20 cricket.

30 Andre Adams’ score is the highest score by a No.10 batsman in CLT20. The previous highest was 19 by Guyana’s Lennox Cush against the Lions at Johannesburg in 2010.

9 Number of batsmen to get out CAUGHT in Auckland’s innings – a new record in CLT20. The previous record was of 8 caught dismissals, which has happened on 7 occasions.

1 Andre Adams provided the first instance of a No.10 batsman top-scoring in a completed innings in CLT20. It is also the lowest position from where a batsman top-scored in a completed innings in CLT20. Central Districts’ Doug Bracewell (30) and Bevan Griggs (19) had done so at No.8 against Chennai Super Kings and Wayamba respectively in the 2010 edition.

Titans win by 59 runs
  • van JaarsveldI thought Rudolph and Davis were amazing. With the ball, it is pretty easy to captain when they are hitting it back of a length. Hopefully this rich vein of form can continue for us.
  • Hopkins: I thought 172 we were happy with. I was more than happy with how our bowlers pegged them back but our batting let us down. We still have a chance of making the semi- finals so need to move on quickly from this.
