# Dravid has posted his fifth innings of 50-plus at Wankhede Stadium. His tally includes 100 not out (retired hurt) against the West Indies in October 2002 - a Test won by India by an innings and 112 runs.

# Dravid's 62nd Test fifty is his 13th against the West Indies.

# Dravid's aggregate of 1945 (ave.64.83) in 23 Tests is the second highest by an Indian batsman against the West Indies, next only to Sunil Gavaskar - 2749 (ave.65.45) in 27 Tests.

# Ravichandran Ashwin (5/156) has recorded his second five-wicket analysis in Tests - his career-best is 6 for 47 in the Delhi Test.

# Ashwin's tally of 18 wickets at 26.11 runs apiece is a new record by an Indian bowler in a three-Test series on debut.

# Ashwin is the fifth Indian bowler to capture five wickets or more in an innings against West Indies at Wankhede Stadium, joining Harbhajan Singh (7 for 48 in October 2002), Venkatapathy Raju (5 for 60 in November 1994), Bhagwat Chandrasekhar (5 for 116 in December 1978) and Shivlal Yadav (5 for 131 in November 1983).

# West Indies' 590 is the third highest total recorded at Wankhede Stadium - the top two being 604 for six wickets declared by West Indies against India in January 1975 and India's 591 against England in February 1993.

# Sehwag (7920) needs 80 runs to complete his 8,000 runs in Tests.

# Sehwag's performance so far this year is far from satisfactory - 250 runs (ave.25.00) in ten innings, including two fifties - both against West Indies at Feroz Shah Kotla.

# Gambhir and Sehwag put on their fourth successive fifty-plus stand for the opening wicket in the present series - 89 & 51 at Feroz Shah Kotla, 66 at Eden Gardens and 67 at Wankhede Stadium.
