An injury continues Indian cricket team, Young batsman Rohit Sharma ruled out for the remaining ODI against England.

On first ODI (3-9-2011) at Chester-Le-Street Indian Cricket team Batsman Rohit Sharma’s hand fractured by the first ball he faced from Stuart Broad delivery then he retired hurt after facing that ball. Doctors advised him to take rest for 3 weeks. So he automatically out of the tournament.

Middle-order batsman Manoj Tiwary replaces Rohit Sharma. Sachin Tendulkar also injured suffered toe injury on last Friday practice session.

It is the unsuccessful tour for India as a lot of most important players are suffered injuries at this tour, including Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag, Zaheer Khan, Ishant Sharma and Yuvraj Singh.

Propelled by Rohit Sharma’s magnificent double-century, India marched to a 153-run win in Kolkata. While Eden Gardens celebrated 150 years, Rohit lit-up the stadium with a well paced 264 off 173 to make the occasion memorable.
